November 28th is Panama's celebration of their Independence from Spain. This weekend is filled with music, parties, and the Horse Parade. Being the horse person that I am this is the only event I will probably attend. The parade usually brings out ALL the horse owners in Boquete. This year it was a small parade compared to other Cabalgata's in Boquete. There were rumors that there would be thousands of horses; I think many stayed home because of the very rainy 'rain season' we are having. As you can see from the pictures, by the time the 2pm parade finally began, at 4pm, the rains had started. It was a Cabalgata for "The Few, The Brave, The Horse Lovers"!
